Create a volume

Block Storage provides persistent volumes you can attach to any IBEE Cloud server. Volumes persist independently of servers — data is retained even if the server is deleted.

Before you begin

  • An active IBEE Cloud project with a verified account (Verify your account)
  • KYC verification completed — Block Storage requires full account verification

If your account shows a Limited Access banner, complete KYC verification to unlock Full Access to Block Storage.

Go to Block Storage

In the IBEE Cloud portal, click Block Storage in the left sidebar under Infrastructure.

This opens the Block Storage page at portal.ibee.ai/a/{project_id}/cloud-storage/block.

Add a volume

Click + Add Block Storage.

Choose a storage type

Select a storage type:

Choose a location

Select a Storage Location.

Set the storage size

Use the slider or quick-select buttons to choose a size:

The summary bar at the bottom shows your selection: e.g. 80 GB · NVMe · AMR 1.

Set a volume label

Enter a Volume Label — this is the display name for your volume in the portal.

  • Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
  • Example: my-db-volume

Create the volume

Click + Add Block Storage. Your volume appears in the Block Storage list with status Ready.

Volume details

Click a volume to open its detail page. The Overview tab shows:

Troubleshooting

Limited Access banner visible Complete KYC verification at portal.ibee.ai/verify to unlock full Block Storage access.

Volume label rejected Volume labels must use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. No spaces, dots, or uppercase characters.

Volume stuck in creating state Refresh the page. If the volume does not reach Ready status within a few minutes, contact IBEE support.
